Ashlee Margolis founded The A List in 2001 and has grown it into one of the most renowned talent procurement and celebrity dressing agencies in the entertainment industry today. As Founder, Margolis oversees all aspects of The A List’s business, focusing on creating long-lasting and meaningful strategic partnerships by pairing top brands with leading talent, causes and charities.
Prior to founding The A List, Margolis helped open the Los Angeles office of Harrison & Shriftman where she ran the event PR department and oversaw the influencer and talent outreach. This focus provided her with a keen understanding of what it takes for brands looking to get exposure within the entertainment space.
Margolis has built a vast database that enables her to curate guest lists for everything from intimate influential dinner parties to larger events around awards season, festivals, Fashion Week and more. With a passion for entertaining and connecting, The A List is an industry leader in the entertainment and fashion space.
Margolis grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. She currently travels between Los Angeles and New York and resides in Beverly Hills with her husband and two sons.
Jessica Nagel is the fashion director at The A List. She builds valuable and long-term celebrity relationships with the key brands that the company represents.
Prior to joining The A List, Jessica ran the public relations department of J.Mendel, the international luxury fashion house headquartered in New York City. Overseeing all of the company’s fashion shows, international editorial coverage and celebrity dressing, Jessica was instrumental in J. Mendel’s growth into the global luxury brand that it is today.
As Vice President of Global Communications, her career highlights include securing a dress on Natalie Portman for the cover of Vogue, building a relationship with the First Lady Michelle Obama who continues to wear the brand today and dressing nominees for the Academy Awards and countless other red carpets. During her tenure, Jessica built valuable relationships with top editors, industry influencers and stylists - dressing celebrities such as Kristen Stewart, Taylor Swift, Emma Stone and Claire Danes.
Prior to working at J. Mendel, Jessica consulted for a wide range of stylists and produced fashion shows for Kevin Crier & Associates.
Monica Lambert oversees talent procurement for all events and special projects at The A List.
For the past eight years, Monica has seamlessly managed countless talent bookings for personal appearances, special events, and promotional campaigns both domestically and abroad. Monica has successfully executed a series of event concepts and strategies for a broad spectrum of clients including those in fashion, beauty, hospitality and philanthropy.
